In this section I have put varoius things and curiosities which can't be easily spotted, additional tips and rumors roaming the internet.
Drug-addicts? Lately once more(9th time) I have decided to play SH. This time I have decided to listen more carefully to the conversations between characters and I have reached an interesting conclusion. Dahlia i Lisa are drug-addicts and Kaufmann is the local dealer. Why do I think so? Lets start from the beginning. In Antique Green Lion(Dahlia's shop), during the conversation between Harry and Cybil. When Cybil hears what Dahlia has told Harry, she says she must have been drugged and that's how it all starts. The conversation shifts into the case on which the police is working for a long time, it concerns drugs which are sold to the tourists visiting the city. Those drugs are supposed to be available in certain places in SH but the search for the dealer has so far been fruitless. Next Harry enters to the so called Other Church, a place where there have been probably rituals performed in the past. He finds a chalice there and white powder in it, what kind of powder it is, needless to say I believe. Now Lisa. Remember the part in Nowhere when we find out her true identity, that is when Harry runs away from her but when we come back there is Lisa's diary lying on the floor(quite disturbing one by the way), its last words are "Need Drug Help Me". Apparently Lisa couldn't bear the suffering she saw in the hospital, probably that is why she was about to resign from her job. At the end the dealer Kaufmann. Remember what was in the safe? Three packages of white powder. "Drugs?"- said Harry upon seeing it. Everything is clear now, Kaufmann is a doctor after all and he has access not only to various drugs but also to all sorts of apparatus with which drugs can be injected. But what sort of drug is it? In the police station there is written that its name is White Claudia. Further on in Nowhere in the room that looks like a doctor's office there lies a book in which we read that White Claudia is a water plant which after preparation can cause hallucinations. But what does it all has to do with religious rituals? Well, later on we can read that the plant is used by various religions in which hallucinations are essential. But are drugs responsible for what has happened in the town? I don't think so but I presume they have helped Dahlia in reaching her goal, after all a drug-afflicted man is easier to manipulate.
Sonic Youth Remember the teachers' names which you can find in the School? K.Gordon, L.Ronaldo, T.Moore, these are the names of the Sonic Youth group.
Ghost In LakeSide Amusement Park, near the safe there is a small ghost. If you use the bottle with unknown liquid you will see the cutscene where Harry spills the liquid on Cybil. To put it simply, if you don't want to go to Cybil and struggle with her you can save a few minutes this way.
Konami Burger I think the people from Konami enjoy Hamburgers very much, not only because SH1 and 2 contain many names with the word Burger but also because while going to the hospital you can spot a bar named "Konami Burger".
Silent Hill's location I think SH lies in Ilinosi state. Why? Because while exploring the school I've noticed a nespaper hanging near the blackboard, it had "Chicago News" in the title. Is Silent Hill located in Eastern USA?
Cheryl/Aless When we are in "Nowhere" on the third floor one can see Cheryl kneeling at the altar wearing Alessa's outfit.
Weeping When you closely listen to the Silent Hill song from the OST you will hear someone weeping in the background in the 144th second of the song.
Alternative Intro When you pass the game with Good+ result you will see Cybil in Harry's wife's place(like in the ending cutscene).
