Silent Hill TC- Characters

Harry Mason- he is a thirty-two year old writer who runs into Silent Hill by pure accident. And he stays there only for the knowledge of his daughter's being somewhere in that god forsaken town. In all the haze, among all the monsters and dangers. The though does not let him rest even for a moment and at all cost does he try to find her. On the dangerous way Harry will have to fight many obstacles, among them being the thought of losing one's own mind or the attempt of understanding the surrounding reality. Harry's past from the very beginning is unclear, actually there is nothing that we know at the beginning, only as the plot unveils do we find out that he is a widower and that Cheryl is not his biological daughter. While exploring the town Harry will meet people who, for some reason, have stayed in this sick town. They will be people positively aligned, neutral or hostile even, but every each of them will play a significant role. The gameplay is given more depth for the fact that you can run Harry through fice different endings. All in all Harry Mason is certainly a positive character who has many qualities to him and all the events which take place in the town of Silent Hill influence him in an encouraging way, providing him with an incentive of finding his daughter. Also, contrary to the other characters, he tries(if uncounciously) to put an end to the evil which has taken control of the town and kidnapped his only child.

Cheryl Mason- Cheryl seems like an ordinary child with short black hair. Upon arrival in Silent Hill whe disappears under strange circumstances. But is she really a normal child and has her disappearence not been previously planned by someone or something for that matter? What can tie the little girl with a place so dangerous and repulsive? As time goes by we find out a little about her past and her real origin of which we would have never even suspected her. Cherys is an eye in his father's head who without any hesitations endangers his own life in order to regain her.

In the game we almost never meet her and certainly not in the form we meet here in the beginning. Cheryl seems like a kind and good-hearted child, uncapable of afflicting any kind of evil. But what is the real truth behind this and how will her perils end? It all depends on you.
