Bosses
In Silent Hill, apart from the ordinary enemies, there are so called bosses. They are enemies stronger and fiercer. Beating some of them is really hard, thus this guid has been created, where you will find ways of tackling them.
Giant Lizard- the first boss we meet, who we encounter in the alternative school's cellar. The enemy is tough because only one reckless move can result in a large "Game Over" on your screen. The battle takes place in a rather small and cram arena with a torch in the middle, to defeat him you must: Easy and Normal levels- approach him with shotgun in hands and shoot a few bullets straight into his mouth until he stops, now he will be trying to swallow you so the moment it opens its mouth, jump back(press run key and down direction key) and when you are in a safe distance, shoot straight in to his open flapper(must repeat a few times). Hard level- approach him with a shotgun and shoot 6 bullets from a short distance(moving backwards), now he will change his tactics and will try to eat you. In this case you must walk(not run) around the torch so that the monster is just behind you. When he opens his mouth he will stop and cease to follow you, this moment you must use to your advantage, stop(of course in a reasonable distance), press the ready button and when Harry turns around in his direction, shoot 2 bullets in his open mouth, then start going in circles once more(you have to shoot 18 times). Large Maggot- it isn't a hard boss, the battle takes place in the Silent Hill Town Center. To eliminate him, you only have to run in circles, (right at one time and left at the other), the moment he is coming out of the ground, you can hear a characteristic sound, you only have to run a little bit more(sharply turning sideways), then capture the target and give out a shot. Use short weapons like pistol or, if you don't have any bullets left) during the battle you can take from the broken display case a rifle and play a hunter(this technique works on every difficulty level).
